NVM Only working for admin.

OS: Windows 11

Good morning. Installed nvm via documented instructions (a view times now) and is working as expected only under my my admin account from where it was installed.
While it will find npm, node, etc. in the environment as expected, it is only resolving for the admin account.
I've checked the environment variables, and they appear to setting up the same access for both the admin and system variables , but when I attempt to access any of the nvm assets from a system user they don't resolve.
Not sure where to go with this. I've checked the paths references in the environment variables and path setting and they all seem correct.
Can not get this to resolve and would hate to have to resort to a hard install of node if I can help it.

What do you mean by "accessing nvm assets"? Are you referring to nvm install or nvm use? Or are you saying node myfile.js doesn't run?

Additionally, are you really referring to the SYSTEM user? That is a special account. Or are you referring to a system user Active Directory role?

however, I've rearranged the environment paths for the system users and it appears to have resolved the issue... thanks!

For future reference, you can run nvm debug to help with some environment variable concerns (as well as other common issues). Glad you resolved it!

I was referring to those variables specific to "System variables"

Got it, and thanks for clarifying. NVM4W doesn't actually care if it is user or system variables. It's just a matter of whether they are available at runtime. Sometimes Windows requires a restart/re-login for system variable changes to be properly recognized.
