Error running pgcli

Hi,

I have installed pgcli on my env, but when I am trying to run it this is the error I am getting this is my machine configuration

It a amazon linux

# uname -a
GNU/Linux

# uname -m
x86_64

# cat /etc/issue
\S
Kernel \r on an \m

# python3 --version
Python 3.7.16

Did you follow the instructions here, most importantly this part:

pgcli requires python-dev, libpq-dev and libevent-dev packages. You can install these via your operating system package manager.
$ sudo apt-get install python-dev libpq-dev libevent-dev
or
$ sudo yum install python-devel postgresql-devel

The error suggests that you are missing libpq-dev (or postgresql-devel or the equivalent, depending on your distribution).

Yes @dbaty the packages are already installed, I tried with uninstalling and installing again.

# sudo yum install python-devel postgresql-devel

You have an extremely old libpq version on your system that doesn't implement this function.
