ESBuild is exhibiting behaviour which I can understand but am not sure is correct. I would like to discuss this with someone before submitting an issue, in case my understand is indeed wrong.

There is however no discussions section on which to do so. Where is the best place to ask questions like these?

I think it is fine to use GitHub issues to ask questions.
