OpenAPIHono with Bindings breaks the RPC client type

Hi as soon as I use Bindings for the OpenAPIHono call the client type becomes unknown

interface Bindings {
  event: LambdaEvent;
  lambdaContext: LambdaContext;
}
type Variables = JwtVariables;

export const app = new OpenAPIHono<{ Bindings: Bindings; Variables: Variables }>({
  strict: true,
}).basePath('/api/v1');

And then

const client = hc<AppType>('');
export type Client = typeof client;

export const hcWithType = (...args: Parameters<typeof hc>): Client => {
  const [baseUrlArg, ...rest] = args;
  const baseUrl = new URL(baseUrlArg);
  // TODO: hardcoding version here but need to find a scalable way
  baseUrl.pathname = `${baseUrl.pathname.replace(/\/$/, '')}/api/v1`;
  return hc<AppType>(baseUrl.href, ...rest);
};

If I remove the Bindings then it works again
