If it's as you say, yeah a simple PR to Kairos init to identify it as part of the red hat family could be enough to support building Kairos flavored artifacts . If you are talking about Kairos making it part of it's releases then that may be more difficult thing as we are trying to reduce the number built and release artifacts to a minimum as with kairos-init it's easier than ever to build your own and we want to increase that, users building their own images and maintaining them, customizing them and upgrading them as they see fit but it could be done until we get in there. As always, PRs are welcome especially to increase os support! |

What is the path to add OpenEuler, a leading open-source Linux distribution in China optimized for cloud and edge scenarios, into Kairos’ supported OS list? It should be trivial, since OpenEuler is using DNF and compatible with Red Hat distributions. For Kairos, we need only add a new distro for the
RedHat
family. I can even submit PRs for this.Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
