Unable to verify mchs.hackclub.com for organization

Hi, I've trying to verify the domain mchs.hackclub.com for my GitHub organization hackclubmchs. I already can deploy to the domain and when I can access the verification TXT record but it gives me the following error still:

We were unable to verify ownership of mchs.hackclub.com. We couldn't find the TXT record. If it was recently added, wait a few moments before trying again. Note that it may take up to 24 hours for DNS changes to take effect globally.

Here is my verification steps:

1. Create a TXT record in your DNS configuration for the following hostname: _github-pages-challenge-hackclubmchs.mchs.hackclub.com
2. Use this code for the value of the TXT record: 7758abbb60ddb92f7bca19e65bca60
3. Wait until your DNS configuration changes. This could take up to 24 hours to propagate.

GitHub Pages is properly configured so I was able to properly deploy.

I can access the verification TXT records fine, but it still says it can't find it.

There are no current TXT records on that subdomain. Of course, propagation should take 24 hours maximum however this is not a fixed value. The record is not propagated universally, so this is not an issue on GitHubs end.

It's been well over 48 hours by now and the same issue occurs when I try to verify. Any ideas or estimate on how long propagation should take?

If I run:

dig TXT mchs.hackclub.com

There is no TXT field returned. Here is a part of the problem I guess.
