In VSCode git history display shows <code> block with lighter color with fixed height and scrolls with code.

I've added override in settings.json as a local fix:

"workbench.colorCustomizations": {
  "[Alt Catppuccin Mocha]": {
    "textPreformat.background": "#ffffff00",
  }
