As a teaser, I do have a "hacky" version using chafa and fzf, which is why I said it"s more to understand the why and less requesting for a feature. So, more than requesting a feature, this is more to know why such a feature has not been asked for or implemented yet - namely showing thumbnails/image previews in the search results.
(PS. skip the below if you're not interested in possibly unnecessary context)
I first heard about ani-cli a few years back, installed it on both Ubuntu (22 LTS) and Windows (11). Recently when I decided to get a new laptop and try out Linux as daily driver, this was one of the first TUIs I installed. When I lost access to my Nfx family account, i was curious to find alternatives. And through the Homies section, I found lobster, which had the nice image preview option (but is lacking the episodes range feature of ani-cli). So, I came back to this repo page to see if the same was available - guess what I found
Is there something obvious that I'm not seeing to not want image previews in your terminal?
