On behalf of the odo team and all contributors, I'm thrilled to announce the release of odo v3.0.0.
odo [0] is a Developer-focused CLI tool for fast and iterative application development on OpenShift and Kubernetes.
Below is a quick overview of the most notable changes in this major release, but you can read more in the release blog post [1] or the full changelog [2].
Feel free to give odo a try by installing it [3] and following the Quickstart Guide [4].
For people already running a previous version of odo, we've put together this guide [5] for a smooth migration from v2 to v3.
For questions and feedback, please reach out to us on #odo [6] on Kubernetes Slack.
Noteworthy changes since v2
This major version essentially comes with new commands that aim at improving and simplifying the overall developer experience, as compared to v2:
All these commands are showcased in more detail in the release blog post [1].
We have also addressed many (70+) bugs and improvements to our documentation.
Thanks again to our contributors and everyone who helped shape this version.
