This time it's about writing a spoiler. Normally one would do something like:
summary: Black Mirror spoiler
content: (whatever about the storyline)
But this would translate to:
[Black Mirror spoiler]
(whatever about the storyline)
Which does not require any extra click to open it. I find it impossible to write a "safe" spoiler with bridgy turned on, so I hope there could be some opt-in way to link to the original AP post, so that it would at least require an extra click as expected by the poster.

One way I often think about this kind of thing is, bridging is a lossy approximation. It can get close to parity, but it's never perfect. Different networks do have commonalities - profiles, posts, replies, likes, reposts, blocks, etc - but they also obviously have differences. User-provided CWs and folding aren't unique to the fediverse, but they're definitely not universal, eg on Bluesky. I tend to focus on bridging the common features well, more than trying to reproduce features like this that don't have a clear corollary.
Regardless, it is a good idea, happy to track it here as a feature request!
Uh oh!
