Problem

Without clear instructions, external contributors and internal team members may struggle to participate in the translation process through Crowdin. A simple and accessible contribution guide is needed.

Implementation

  • Write a step-by-step guide on how to join the Crowdin project, suggest translations, and review updates.
  • Include screenshots and examples where helpful.
  • Publish the guide and link it in the README and community channels.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Guide explains how to access the Crowdin project
  • Steps for suggesting/editing translations are documented
  • The link is publicly accessible and included in relevant repos

Notes

  • Keep the guide concise but comprehensive.
  • This will help scale translation efforts via community involvement.

Future Steps

  • Reference this documentation when enabling automated syncing
  • Include a "Contribute translations" section in the onboarding docs
