When using Telegram Desktop in a narrow window (~700px), even with the recent chat list minimized to only show avatars, I cannot open the emoji/gif menu without the application resizing itself on top of other applications. The application doesn't maintain its original footprint when the emoji menu is opened.
Describe the solution you'd like
Add a setting that allows users to choose which sidebar collapses first when the window width is insufficient for both: either the emoji/sticker panel (current default) or the recent chats list.
This would make it possible to use the chat in its current smallest configuration (400px) with either no recent chat sidebar or the minimal sidebar only showing avatars, while also displaying the emoji/gif panel (302px).
Describe alternatives you've considered
Always having the emoji menu hidden and only accessing it temporarily when needed, which defeats my purpose of wanting to use the emoji panel permanently.
