App becomes unresponsive when searching

Describe the Bug

When entering a search string, the app stops responding after entering the first letter and closes automatically after a few seconds.

Expected Behavior

Expecting a list of bookmarks including the search string.

Thank you for taking the time to open this issue with floccus. I know it's frustrating when software
causes problems. You have made the right choice to come here and open an issue to make sure your problem gets looked at
and if possible solved.
I'm Marcel and I created floccus a few years ago, maintaining it ever since. I currently work for Nextcloud
which leaves me with less time for side projects like this one than I used to have.
I still try to answer all issues and if possible fix all bugs here, but it sometimes takes a while until I get to it.

Thank you for the feedback! Do you have any special bookmarks perhaps? Something with an unorthodox URL?

No, just standard format.
But what I also noticed is that if you enter the characters of the search string quickly one after the other, the search function returns a result more often.
Could it be that the function starts searching immediately after the first character is entered, thus generating too many hits that the search function can no longer manage?

Mh, the search should only start after two characters. Does it crash for you on the first character already?

Yes, after the first character. If you don't enter more characters immediately after the first one, the app seems to be locked, preventing you from entering any more. Floccus's behavior isn't always the same afterward. Sometimes the app responds again after a while, but sometimes the program quits on its own.
