Setting up development environment

Hi,
Does anyone know of a good guide for setting up the development environment for a W11 machine? I am having a lot of trouble trying to prevent a targeting of arm64 and cannot build my environment. I'm sure I must have done something wrong but after some hours of failing to fix it I'm struggling.

Some more info:
The build system is incorrectly targeting the ARM64 architecture for certain components. This leads to attempts to compile ARM64-specific artifacts, including generating COM interfaces using MIDL for ARM64. At the same time, my environment lacks access to midl.exe, the Microsoft Interface Definition Language compiler, which is required for these builds. As a result, the build process fails due to both the inappropriate architecture target and the missing compiler.

Did you follow the exact steps here? Note this will not work if you install anything else that is not covered here. Make sure you install only the exact same set of packages in .vsconfig. Try fully uninstalling visual studio and visual studio installer, and starting again.

Thanks Sean... I somehow didn't see this guide which was more straightforward than where I was heading. I think I'm all sorted now to start playing with add-ons.
