Unable to sign in with GitHub in VS Code

I can't get the copilot extension to work. The extensions are installed, but when opened in my secondary sidebar I'm prompted to sign in to GitHub. No action happens when clicking on the Sign In button. Also the copilot icon on status bar endlessly spins.

auth] Invalid copilot token: missing token: 403 - on my side. just started with it and its buged. not even pre-release works well
ACtually it just started working. Github says it can take up to 30 minutes !

Not yet. I've also tried uninstalling the extensions, and vs code itself. No luck.

My solution:

• With VS code, you will see in a corner, sign-in cancel option

• Cancel sign in

• It will suggest another option

• Cancel that too

• Now you will be asked to use a code

• Visit the link and enter code
  

• Thats it. now try to clone
